On Sunday June 1, Madison celebrates the Sixth Annual Ride the Drive event.  This is a carefree, car-free event that turns some of Madison’s streets into a public promenade that is open to cyclists, walkers, rollerbladers and people out to share in the experience and fun atmosphere.  The schedule also includes live music, food, various activities, and fun stopping points along the way.

The Wisconsin Bike Federation seeks blind and visually impaired riders who would like to ride with their tandem volunteers during this event.  They can accommodate a limited number of individuals, so please register soon.  If you’re interested in participating, you can contact Patrick Sweeney, 608-237-8120; This email address is being protected from spambots.
