We all live in a world with a vast amount of materials available exclusively in hard copy print. Fortunately, in 2019, a number of different technology options exist which allow all of us to access this information.

This free presentation will demonstrate seven different tools you can use to access the printed word. These include stand alone devices, mobile apps and cameras which connect to your computer. Even if you are not comfortable with computers, reading is easier than you think!

This session will be offered both in-person at the Wisconsin Council of the Blind on Friday, October 18 and online via Zoom on Tuesday, October 22. The Council office is at 754 Williamson Street in Madison, WI.

If interested in attending, please RSVP for either session by contacting Jim Denham via email at or call him at (608) 237-8104 by Thursday, October 17.
