Learn about refreshable braille displays on February 20 at our office or February 26 online.
Author Stephen King once said, "Books are a uniquely portable magic." For those who read hard copy braille, books may be magical, but they are not exactly portable. Reading a book on a refreshable braille display can change that. This session will demonstrate several of the latest refreshable braille displays and how they can be connected to your computer, smart phone or work as a standalone device. Displays from various manufacturers and at several different price points will be covered.
RSVP by Monday, February 18 by contacting Jim Denham at (608) 237-8104 or email Jdenham@wcblind.org.
The first class will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 3:00 p.m., at the Council's office, 754 Williamson Street in Madison. An online version of the same class will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 1:00 p.m. via Zoom. Classes are free.
