Reminder: Advocacy Days Provides the Tools to Make Your Voice Heard

3 Advocacy Day folders held up in front of the Wisconsin Capitol.

Registration is now open for the Council’s 2023 Advocacy Days.

This year’s Advocacy Days combines online and in-person components. An online Advocacy 101 Zoom session will be offered on April 18 at two different times: 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

On April 19 and April 20, there will be online “Lunch and Learn” Zoom sessions from noon to 1:00 p.m. The Lunch and Learn topics are Transportation Equity for Non-Drivers and Health Care Access for People with Vision Loss.

Then on Wednesday, May 3 we’ll gather at the State Capitol. This will be an opportunity to share advocacy ideas and then meet with state lawmakers to discuss issues that impact people with vision loss. You must attend one of the Advocacy 101 sessions to participate in the Capitol session.
