Scholarships

Recognizing outstanding student achievements

For much of our history, the Council has provided academic scholarships to support students living with vision loss who want to enhance their education and achieve their professional goals. Since the program’s inception, these scholarships have supported hundreds of students with thousands of dollars in awards, breaking down barriers to success in postsecondary education and employment.

We’re Now Accepting Scholarship Applications!

Scholarships are available for Wisconsin residents who are blind or visually impaired and are attending a two-year college, four-year university, or graduate program.

Applications are now available. Submission deadline is March 15, 2024.

Congratulations 2023 Scholarship Recipients!

“I know my passion for the future is to help kids with disabilities through the education system because I know the challenges that are faced. I am grateful to the Council for a scholarship to support my plans to go to college. If I can make a difference in any way possible for someone else, that will be my dream come true.
