As 2023 comes to a close, the Council looks to you for a gift in support of the work we do every day to enhance the lives of people who are blind or learning to live with vision loss.

Making a gift at the end of the year has become a tradition for many of our donors. We are deeply grateful for the trust you place in the Council to bring about meaningful change for the clients and customers we serve.

“Because of the Council, my misperceptions about my ongoing visual loss have been corrected,” says Council client Ellen Connor. “I have met outstanding people who have broadened my world, and I have discovered new adaptations for work and play. Gratitude is an inadequate word for my experiences with the Council! I hope this season of thanks moves you to explore the opportunities the Council offers and to support their efforts with your financial gift.”

If making a contribution is difficult at this time of year, I invite you to consider setting up a smaller monthly gift, which can do that on our website. After a year, your $15 monthly gift can help three people get started learning new technology to keep them connected to family and friends.

Your gifts move us forward in our commitment to people living with vision loss. With your financial help, we will continue to empower our clients and customers to set goals and achieve them!

To begin making a monthly gift, or to make a one-time donation, visit WCBlind.org. For gifts from your Donor Advised Fund or IRA, contact Lori at 608-237-8114 or LWerbeckes@WCBlind.org with any questions.
