The McPherson Eye Research Institute and the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired are teaming up to bring you an engaging program on retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and other inherited retinal degenerative diseases, live-streamed on Zoom on December 3 from 4-6 p.m.

The program will feature Dr. David Gamm, Director of the McPherson ERI, whose stem cell lab at UW-Madison is developing potentially groundbreaking photoreceptor replacement therapies for RP and other disorders; and Vision Services staff from the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired, who will discuss adaptations to living with RP and vision loss until new therapies become available. There will be plenty of time for questions from participants.

Register for this event at WCBlind.org/Events. The event will take place on Thursday, December 3 from 4-6 p.m. and will be recorded. Make sure to register to receive access to the recording.
