What information does the Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired collect?
We only gather personally identifiable data, such as names, addresses, zip/postal codes, email addresses when voluntarily submitted by a visitor. For example, personally identifiable information may be collected in order to respond to a stated desire to volunteer, to apply for a scholarship, to make a purchase from our online store or to make an online donation. This information may include the following:

Credit Card transactions are processed in a secure environment. Credit Card information is passed or processed only through secured means and the credit card information is not retained after the transaction is processed.

The Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired will maintain all information submitted for its original intent. All voluntarily submitted information, excluding credit card information, may be maintained in our database. We may also disclose information about you if we believe that disclosure is necessary for the public interest.
