The holidays are just around the corner, and we’re pleased to announce that the Sharper Vision Store is once again having a Cyber Week Sale the week after Thanksgiving! For five days, we’ll be offering special discounts on a variety of items ranging from talking watches to magnifiers to lamps to games. The sale begins on Monday, December 2 at 8:30 a.m. and runs through Friday, December 6 at 4:30 p.m. You can take advantage of the sale both in person at the Sharper Vision Store at 754 Williamson St. in Madison and through our online store at https://store.wcblind.org/.
If you are most comfortable communicating in a language other than English when you visit the Sharper Vision Store, don’t hesitate to ask for translation assistance! The Council uses LanguageLine, a subscription-based translation service that connects businesses with interpreters around the world. If you would like to interact with us in your preferred language, we can call LanguageLine to instantly reach one of 16,000 professional interpreters who collectively speak more than 240 languages, including American Sign Language. Translation services are also available to our Vision Services clients during low vision evaluations, in-home vision rehabilitation visits and access technology sessions.
