Due to the current volatility of the global economic landscape, the prices of most items in the Sharper Vision Store have increased. Most adaptive products found in the Sharper Vision Store are manufactured overseas and are therefore subject to tariffs. The store already runs on a tight profit margin to ensure that you are getting the lowest possible price on your adaptive products. Because of this, we must raise prices in the Store as a response to the higher costs we must pay.
Magnifiers are the sole exception to the cost increases. Our magnifier suppliers are currently looking for ways to avoid steep tariffs on their products, even though they are manufactured overseas. Also, the price increases will not affect our free white cane program. Those who qualify for a free white cane from the Council can continue to receive one every 24 months.
The new prices are currently in effect both on the Sharper Vision Store website and in our brick-and-mortar location at 754 Williamson Street in Madison.
