As the weather turns cooler, curling up with your favorite television show or movie is a great way to relax. However, for individuals who are blind or have low vision, navigating the many available streaming services, devices, and accessibility features can sometimes feel overwhelming.
As with its other products, Apple has made accessibility a priority with their Apple TV. This compact streaming device provides an easy and reliable way to enjoy movies, television programs, music, and other entertainment from a wide variety of sources. With built-in accessibility features designed for people who are blind or have low vision, Apple TV is an option for accessible home entertainment.
During this session, we will explore what Apple TV has to offer, demonstrate how it works, and highlight the accessibility features that make finding, navigating and enjoying your favorite entertainment easier.
