For people who use Windows-based screen readers, there are several free options available. Both NVDA and Windows Narrator have significantly improved over the past several years. These programs offer features and functionality that make them viable options when working in some common Windows applications, such as Microsoft Office. This session will explore both of these programs, highlight some of the latest improvements, and show how they can be used to gain meaningful access in widely used Windows apps.

To register for this class, please contact Access Technology Specialist Jim Denham at [email protected] no later than Tuesday, August 4. Please note: If you register for this session, requests for technical assistance must be received no later than noon on Thursday, August 6. Any requests received after that time will be provided a link to a recording of the session.
