Make A Difference at The Big Share March 2

Person handing another person a bag with logos of media partners below and the words Give to Local Nonprofits Tuesday, March 2.

Join the Council on Tuesday, March 2, for a day of online giving hosted by Community Shares of Wisconsin during The Big Share. This event is an opportunity for you to make a difference for people who are blind or visually impaired in Wisconsin. Below is a brief timeline of the day so you can decide when to make your gift or engage with us online:

10 a.m.: Facebook Live interview with New York clothing designer Bryan Manning of Two Blind Brothers on our Facebook page.

10 a.m.-11 a.m.: Power Hour – the Council can win an additional $750 if we have the most donors or the highest amount raised during this hour.

3 p.m.-4 p.m.: All gifts made during this hour will be matched by Council board members. That means any gift you make during this time will have double the impact!

Our theme this year is to raise awareness about how people navigate each day with vision loss

Spread the word andhelp us reach our $5,000 goal.  Share our social media posts and join us for the Facebook Live. Visit the Council’s Big Share page to learn more or make your donation.

Community Shares of Wisconsin advances social justice and environmental protection through 70-member nonprofit organizations that lead efforts throughout the state. The Council is proud to be a CSW member, and to take part in one of the largest days of online giving in Wisconsin.
